ST. ALBANS SCHOOLS
The St Albans Schools Sports Association is affiliated to the E.S.F.A and runs a thriving programme of schools football for all schools in the St Albans area.
We have 9 Boys Leagues and 5 Girls Leagues that run throughout the season.
Schools also have the opportunity to enter the St Albans Cups, with the Semi –Finals and Finals held at The Recreation Ground, the home of Colney Heath FC a local Step 5 football club who are very accommodating for these finals and the County Wix finals..
At County level, many St Albans schools enter the Wix 7 a side competition and the Wix 9 a side competition, which is the oldest Primary schools competition In the Country.
The association also organise annual 6 a side competitions for year 5 and 6 boys and girls. Each of these tournaments attracts over twenty local schools.
As well as leagues and tournaments the Association also runs a membership scheme with St Albans City FC.
HOME OF THE SAINTS
St. Albans Primary Schools FA play their Home fixtures and events from Colney Heath Football Club and we also have a great relationship with local secondary schools, who are brilliant at letting us their facilities for our games on their Astros. Sandringham School, Beaumont School and Samuel Ryder Academy, we thank you so much.
The Football Club also plays host to pre-match build-up, breakfast and team-talk, post-match Home and Away lunch and to many Fundraising Nights such as Annual Race Night and Quizzes.
The SAPSFA also host fixtures 'under the lights' of The Recreation Ground and hold seated stands for spectators.
